PLATO finalist in the Cuisine Restaurant of the Year Awards
The team at PLATO is thrilled to be acknowledged by the judges
of the 2009 Cuisine Restaurant of the Year Awards with finalist
status prize in this year’s awards.
This follows their selection as a finalist in the awards in 2007 and runner-up position in the Best Casual Dining, Metropolitan category in 2008.
"To be selected again affirms what we always try to achieve," says Nigel, "which is consistency of quality in both food and service. It’s a reflection of the calibre of the entire team we have here at PLATO."
An extra special musical evening to entertain PLATO diners
PLATO is thrilled to announce a new type of Night at the Opera in 2009.
Opera lovers should keep the night of Sunday 13 September free for an evening with two of New Zealand’s foremost composers, Anthony Ritchie and John Drummond, and a stellar cast of local operatic talent.
PLATO’s A Night at the Opera 2009 presents the premiere performances of two operettas written by the Dunedin-based composers, alongside a suitably stellar menu produced specifically for the occasion by the PLATO chefs.
A ticket price of $75 includes the performances, a three-course meal and a glass of Arcadia Central Otago Methode Traditionelle. These are strictly limited so don’t miss out!
